Batman: The Dark Knight Rises Hits India Theaters

The hype of the finale of the Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises has hit Indians with moviegoers rallied to the theaters to catch the glimpse of the masked underground “bat” hero, Batman, saving the dying Gotham City.

The Dark Knight Rises, the last of the Batman trilogy, has finally released after 4 years. Still with Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, he came back from hiding after 8 years to battle and try to save Gotham City from a masked terrorist leader, Bane – played by Tom Hardy, who believed that the only way to save a dying city is to die with it. Aside from Bane, Catwoman who is portrayed by Anne Hathaway also tried to steal Wayne’s mother’s necklace, which lead to an exciting encounter between the two. I think The Dark Knight Rises lived up to the Batman movie fans, and Nolan has done a great job.

The Dark Knight Rises opens today, July 20, 2012 to most major movie theaters in India. Book your tickets now online to avoid long lines or else go to your nearest movie theater early to get your seats.

Oh, before you hit the theater, watch the Dark Knight Rises trailer:

  1. Alphonse Estrada says:

Eight years on, a new evil rises from where the Batman and Commissioner Gordon tried to bury it, causing the Batman to resurface and fight to protect Gotham City… the very city which brands him an enemy.
